Reports: opening, reading and downloading
The report list, the full report, worked solutions and PDFs.
The report list
Press the My Student’s Reports tab. The heading reads Every report, newest first, with the reminder Opens exactly as Aarav Mehta sees it — never a rank.
- The newest report is shown on its own, marked Latest (1).
- Below it, every report is listed with a chip for its kind — Basecamp, Chapter Tests or Mock Tests — and its group, the date it was taken, and the score, for example 150/300.
- A report marked in progress is a test your student has not finished yet.
The top of a report
A report opens with a yellow strip: Read-only — You’re viewing this student’s report exactly as they see it — and ← Back to student on the right. On a laptop, a list on the left called In this report lets you jump to any part.
The blue panel shows the test’s name, your student’s name, the date and the minutes used. Two lines are written for families:
- Only your own numbers — no ranks, no comparisons
- 🤝 Aarav Mehta is never compared with other children here — only with Aarav Mehta’s own earlier attempts. This line appears only for Well-wishers and teachers.
Then come the tiles: Score, Answered, Accuracy (right out of answered), Time used, Marks from right answers and Marks lost to wrong answers, with a one-line summary under them.
The parts of a report
A Mock Test or Chapter Test report is one long page. You do not need to read it all at once. Here is what each part tells you:
| Part | What it tells you |
|---|---|
| What this attempt shows | A few plain sentences — the best place to start. |
| Subjects | Marks in each subject, coloured Strong / Developing / Needs work, and a table of right, wrong, left blank and not opened. |
| Time | Where the minutes went: on right answers, wrong answers and blank questions, and answers in each half hour. |
| How you answered | Every question sorted into one of seven groups, using a guide time (see chapter 7). |
| Difficulty | Right answers out of those asked at each level: Easy, Moderate, Tough. |
| Chapters & skills | Chapters with 3 or more questions in this test, weakest first; the kind of thinking asked; learning outcomes to work on. |
| Marks within reach | Simple arithmetic showing which habit is worth the most marks — not a prediction. |
| Answer order | The order your student answered in (best on a laptop or tablet). |
| Every question | A map of all questions; tap one to see its worked solution. |
| Next steps | The report’s own suggestions for what to do next. |
| Solutions | Every question in a table with its worked solution. Only in the app, not in the PDF. |
“You” in a report means your student
Reports are written to the student, so they say “you”: Your score, you tried 60 questions, and on each question Your answer. When you read them as a Well-wisher, every “you” and “your” means your student. Where a sentence names the student for a Well-wisher, it uses their name — for example, in a question whose answer may fall within a range, the report reads Aarav’s answer followed by the value and the accepted range.
Seeing a worked solution
- Scroll to Every question (or press it in the left-hand list). The Question map shows every question as a small box: ✓ right, ✗ wrong, a grey box for left blank, a dashed box for not opened, an orange top for took longer than the guide time, and 🔖 for marked for review.
- To see only some questions, press a filter such as Wrong (18), Not opened (15) or a subject.
- Tap a question box — or Worked solution → in the Solutions table.
- A panel opens on the right. It shows the result (for example ✗ Wrong), the time taken against the guide time, the marks, and which How you answered group it fell in. Below that are the Question, the Options — the one your student chose is labelled Your answer, the right one Correct answer — and the Worked solution.
- Press Next › and ‹ Previous to move through the questions you filtered, and Close when you are done. On a keyboard, the ← and → arrow keys move and Esc closes.
Downloading a PDF
- Open the report and press Download PDF in the blue panel at the top.
- Your browser’s print window opens. Choose Save as PDF as the printer (on a phone EduPeak reminds you: On the next screen, choose ‘Save as PDF’).
- Save the file, or send it to a printer.
The PDF carries the scores and charts only. Questions and worked solutions stay in the EduPeak app, and the Solutions part is left out. Each printed page is marked with your student’s name and the date it was printed.
