Privacy Policy
Effective date:
This Privacy Policy explains what information EduPeak collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. We aim to use plain language. If anything is unclear, write to hello@edupeak.org and we’ll explain.
What we collect
When you use an EduPeak app, we collect the information needed to create and manage your account: typically your name, email address, and (for some apps) academic information you choose to provide such as your grade, school, and the exams you’re preparing for.
We collect technical information automatically when you visit our site or use our apps — device type, browser, IP address, and pages viewed — used to operate the service and improve it.
How we use your information
We use your information to run your account, deliver the services you request, communicate important updates about your account, and improve our products. We don’t use your data for advertising, and we don’t sell it.
Sharing your information
We don’t share your personal information with third parties for their own marketing. We may share information with service providers who help us run EduPeak (for example, cloud hosting and analytics providers), under contracts that require them to protect your data and use it only for the services they provide to us.
We may disclose information when required by law, when it’s necessary to protect the rights and safety of our users, or as part of a business transfer (e.g. acquisition) — in which case we’ll notify you in advance.
Cookies
We use a small number of essential cookies to run the site (for example, to remember that you’re logged in). We don’t use third-party advertising cookies. If we ever add analytics that involve cookies, we’ll update this policy and ask for your consent where required.
Data retention
We keep account data for as long as your account is active and for a reasonable period afterwards to comply with legal obligations and resolve disputes. You can request deletion of your account at any time by writing to hello@edupeak.org.
Your rights
You have the right to access the information we hold about you, to correct inaccuracies, to ask us to delete it, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise these rights, write to hello@edupeak.org. We aim to respond within 30 days.
Children
EduPeak’s products are designed for students preparing for senior-school and entrance examinations — typically aged 13 and older. Where applicable, parents or guardians should review and assist with account creation for younger students.
Cross-app identity
EduPeak operates a portal and a set of apps. Your identity is shared across them through a single sign-on — so creating an account on one app means you can use that same account on any other EduPeak app.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as our services grow. When we make significant changes, we’ll update the effective date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, notify you by email or through the service.
