Student Manual · Chapter 1 of 12 For students

Welcome to EduPeak

What EduPeak is, the two places you will use, and what you can do..

EduPeak helps you find out how ready you are in Class 11 and 12 science — and then shows you what to work on next, chapter by chapter. EduPeak does not teach; your school and coaching class do that. EduPeak measures, and it gives you an honest report after every test.

Two places, one account

You will use two websites. One account works on both — you sign up once.

PlaceWhat it is for
edupeak.orgEduPeak's main website. Read about Basecamp, Chapter Tests and Mock Tests, see sample reports, create your account, sign in, reset your password, and open your profile. It is in six languages.
myEduPeak (jeemain.edupeak.org)The app where the work happens: your dashboard, the tests themselves, and your reports. When you are signed in on edupeak.org, the myEduPeak → button at the top takes you here.

Your group: PCM or PCB

Everything on EduPeak is organised by your subject group:

  • PCM group — Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry. This is the foundation for JEE Main, your state CET, CUET, the NDA, IISER and NATA.
  • PCB group — Physics, Chemistry, Botany and Zoology. This is the foundation for NEET-UG and your state CET.

You can switch group at any time on My Assessments (see Chapter 5). Your reports and your CAMP profile stay with you when you switch. Some parts of the PCB group are still being prepared; My Assessments shows the status of each part, and a date when one has been announced.

The three steps

StepWhat it isWhen to take it
⛺ BasecampOne 100-minute check of your Class 9–10 basics in 6 timed sections. It ends in your CAMP profile.First — once, before your two years of preparation begin. You can retake it later.
🚩 Chapter TestsA fresh test for every Class 11 and 12 chapter — up to 25 questions, 60 minutes.Throughout Classes 11 and 12, as you finish each chapter.
🏆 Mock TestsFull papers on the real exam clock — each exam under its own name, with its own marking. In your last months, to practise like exam day.

Free, and Prime

Creating an account is free. EduPeak shows you, in the app, exactly what is free:

  • During the launch period, everything is free for everyone, Prime tests too. Your Start Here page shows the date this ends, and the access code is already filled in for you — just press Start.
  • After that, every part of EduPeak keeps free tests, each with the complete report. Prime — EduPeak's yearly membership — opens everything else and lets you take a test again.
  • Every test shows Free or Part of Prime before you start it, so there are never surprises. If your school or coaching gave you an access code, you type it in the Start dialog.

Getting started

Create your account, sign in, reset a forgotten password, and the first screens you see..

Create your account

You create your account on edupeak.org. There are three easy ways to reach the sign-up page:

  • On the edupeak.org home page, press Start with PCM Basecamp — free →. It takes you to the Basecamp page; press Take your Basecamp free → there.
  • At the top right of edupeak.org, press New user? Register.
  • If you tried to start a test before signing in, EduPeak shows You are one step from starting. Press Create free account →. After you sign in, you land right back there with your test ready to start.
Figure 1. The edupeak.org home page. The Start with PCM Basecamp — free button (1) is the simplest way to begin.

Fill in the sign-up form

  1. Under How will you use EduPeak?, choose I’m a student (1). A note appears: you will start at Basecamp — the one test to take first.
  2. Type your First name and Last name (2).
  3. Choose a User ID (3) — small letters, numbers and dots, like `aarav.sharma`. EduPeak checks it as you type and says ✓ That User ID is free. Choose it carefully: you can’t change it yet.
  4. Type your Email (4). Use an email you can open — it is how you get back in if you forget your password. EduPeak never shares it.
  5. Under One quick check, type the 6-digit code shown on the screen into the box beside it (5). No waiting for an email.
  6. Type a Password and type it again in Confirm password (6). It needs 8 or more characters, with an uppercase letter, a lowercase letter and a number.
  7. Press Create account (7). You will see Account ready — signing you in… and you are in.
Figure 2. The Create your account page on edupeak.org, filled in for Kavya. The numbers match the steps above.

By creating an account you agree to EduPeak’s Terms and Privacy Policy (links under the button). If the email is already registered, the page tells you and offers Sign in instead.

If you are asked for an emailed code

Most students never see this. If EduPeak ever asks you to Activate your account, it has emailed a 6-digit verification code to you (the sender is noreply@edupeak.org — check your Spam folder too). Type it in the Verification code box. Not there? Press Email me a code for a fresh one.

  1. Open myEduPeak (jeemain.edupeak.org) and press Sign in at the top right — or press Returning user? Login on edupeak.org.
  2. On Sign in to EduPeak, type your Email or User ID — either works — and your Password.
  3. Press Sign in. You are taken back to where you were going.
Figure 3. The Sign in to EduPeak page. Forgot password? is at the right, above the Password box.

Signing in once on either website signs you in to both. To sign out, open the menu with your name at the top right of myEduPeak and press Sign out.

Forgot your password?

  1. On the sign-in page, press Forgot password?. The Reset your password page opens.
  2. Type your User ID, email, or mobile number — whatever you sign in with — and press Send me a code.
  3. If your account has both an email and a mobile number, EduPeak asks Where should we send your code? Choose Email my code to … or Text my code to ….
  4. Type the 6-digit code you receive and press Verify code. The code is valid for 10 minutes; press Send again if it has expired.
  5. Choose a New password, type it again in Confirm new password, and press Save new password.
  6. You will see Password changed. Press Go to sign in and sign in with your new password.
Figure 4. The first screen of Reset your password. The later screens (the code, the new password) are described in the steps — the code itself arrives by email or text message.

Your first screens in myEduPeak

“How will you use EduPeak?” — asked only once

If you signed up on edupeak.org and chose I’m a student, you go straight in. If your account has not been asked yet (for example, an older account), myEduPeak asks once:

  1. Choose I’m a student (1).
  2. Press Continue (2). Your dashboard opens.
Figure 5. The one-time question in myEduPeak. Choose I’m a student and press Continue.

Your group

New students start in the PCM group. If you study Biology, switch to the PCB group on My Assessments under Your group (Chapter 5). The group you are in shows as a small chip at the top of every page, for example PCM group.

The top bar

Joining through an invitation

Take your seat in your institute’s batch, accept a parent’s invitation, or arrive through a Guide’s link..

Sometimes someone else brings you to EduPeak: your institute, a parent, or an EduPeak Guide. You will receive a link — by email, and often also on WhatsApp. Every invitation opens the same kind of page, which tells you plainly who invited you and who will be able to see your progress. Nothing is shared until you agree.

Your institute’s invitation (a seat in a batch)

When your institute adds you to a batch, EduPeak emails you an invitation. It looks like this:

Figure 8. An institute invitation, opened before signing in. The heading names the batch (JEE 2027 — Batch A) and the institute (Sunrise Science Academy).
  1. Open the link in the email. The page shows Your seat in [batch name] is ready, the institute’s name, and who invited you.
  2. Read the box under the heading. It says the invitation is locked to your email address (shown partly hidden, like i•••i@example.com) and when it expires.
  3. Tick I understand and agree — that any teacher at the institute, at any of its centres, will be able to see your dashboards and progress reports, read-only. They can’t start or change anything; that stays with you.
  4. If you are new to EduPeak, press Create account →. The sign-up page opens with a green note: Your invitation says who you are — You’re joining as a student, so we don’t need to ask. Fill in the form (Chapter 2) using the same email the invitation was sent to.
  5. If you already have an EduPeak account, press Sign in instead. The invitation attaches to your existing account — nothing is lost.
  6. Back on the invitation page, signed in, press Take your seat →. myEduPeak opens your dashboard.
Figure 9. Signing up from an invitation: the page already knows you are a student, and there is no on-screen code to type.
  • This invitation has already been used. If that was you, you are all set. Press Continue to my EduPeak → (or Sign in to continue). Tip: bookmark jeemain.edupeak.org — that is your door from now on.
  • This invitation is expired (or cancelled) — ask your institute for a fresh one.
  • Invitation not found — the link may be incomplete. Open it again from the original message, or ask for a fresh invite. Every invitation works once and expires after 60 days.

After you join

Your account is yours for life: everything you do follows you, across batches and years. On your dashboard, Share your journey → Manage shows Your institute can see you too, with the institute and batch. This sharing stays with the institute, not with one teacher. To end it, ask your institute to remove you from the batch (Chapter 8).

A parent’s or guardian’s invitation

A parent, guardian or private teacher who already uses EduPeak can invite you. Their invitation says Your practice starts here:

Figure 10. An invitation from a parent (Sunita), opened on a phone.
  1. Read who invited you and in what role (for example, as your parent).
  2. Tick I understand and agree that this person will be able to see your dashboards and progress reports — read-only. You can stop sharing anytime.
  3. Press Create account → (new to EduPeak) or Sign in (already have an account), using the email the invite was sent to.
  4. Press Start practising →. Your dashboard opens, and the person who invited you can now follow your progress.

The account is yours: your tests, your reports. You can remove a follower at any time (Chapter 8).

EduPeak Guides are people from partner organisations who introduce EduPeak to schools and families. A Guide may share a personal link with you (it looks like jeemain.edupeak.org/j/…). The page says [Guide’s name] invited you to EduPeak and Through [organisation]. Press Create your account to open the sign-up page.

The sign-up page then shows You were introduced to EduPeak — creating your account there credits your join to that Guide. It changes nothing about what you see or pay. Later, your profile on edupeak.org has a Who introduced you page, where you can see — and, for 10 days, correct — who is credited.

Your dashboard and Start Here

Your whole picture on one page, and what to do next..

Start Here — your map

Start Here is your map of myEduPeak — open it from the top bar at any time (it is also the front page of jeemain.edupeak.org). It greets you by name and lists, in three columns, What you can do here, Where things live, and Start now. It also shows the free-period note and the access key that is filled in for everyone until the date shown. The big button Take Basecamp first → takes you straight to Basecamp.

Figure 11. Start Here for a student. The free-period date and the pre-filled access key are in the middle; Your manual is under the button.

Under the button, Your manual opens this manual on edupeak.org in a new tab — chapter by chapter, with a PDF to download. It is there whenever you are not sure what something does.

My Dashboard

My Dashboard is your whole standing on one page: your Basecamp, your chapters and your Mock Tests. Open it from the top bar.

Figure 12. The top of Kavya’s dashboard after one Basecamp and two Chapter Tests.
What you see
1Keep going, [your name]. — three summaries: Basecamp (your best score out of 300), Chapter Tests (how many chapters are Strong, Developing and Needs work) and Mock Tests. The underlined links jump down the page.
2Recommended next — the one chapter where a little practice can help your Mock Test score most. Press Practise it now → to start it. Before your first chapter test, it says Take your first chapter test.
3Share your journey 💛 — let a parent, guardian or tuition teacher follow your progress (Chapter 8).

Your CAMP profile

Below the summaries is Your CAMP profile from your best Basecamp: four bars, one for each letter of CAMP, with the Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry split shown under M. A line underneath names your strongest area and the one that needs the most practice. Buttons: Retake Basecamp and Full CAMP report. (Before your first Basecamp, the button reads Take your first Basecamp.)

Your chapters — how ready you are

This part lists every chapter of your group, in learning order, in three columns — one per subject. Use Class 11 and Class 12 at the top right to switch class.

Figure 13. The CAMP profile and the chapter list. Kinematics is open, showing its key concepts.

What the colours mean

ColourMeaning
🟩 Strong70% and above
🟧 Developing45% to 69%
🟥 Needs workbelow 45%
⬜ Not startedyou have not tested this chapter yet

The colour is right answers out of all questions in your last 3 tests of that chapter — skipped questions count, so leaving a question blank lowers the colour just like a wrong answer. Your older tests stop counting once you have taken three newer ones, so the colour always shows where you stand now.

Dark or light? A dark colour means you have tested the chapter 2 or more times — the colour is settled. A light colour means you have tested it once — take it again to confirm it. The row says which: in your first test or in your last 2 tests / in your last 3 tests.

Each chapter row

  • Start — take your first test of this chapter. Practise or Retake — take it again (you get new questions).
  • Key concepts ▾ — opens the chapter’s key concepts from your tests and mocks, each with its own band (or too early to say when there are too few questions), and a View report ↗ link.
  • NOT READY YET — there are not enough questions yet for a fair test. Nothing you need to do; it opens when it is ready.

Your Mock Tests

At the bottom, Your Mock Tests shows each exam you have practised: your best and average score and the number of attempts, plus a short note on what would lift your score most (for example, answering more questions). Buttons: Take a Mock Test → and All Mock Test reports.

My Assessments: choosing a test

Your group, the three stages, the chapter list and the mock papers..

My Assessments shows everything you can take, in order. Basecamp shows your starting level. Chapter Tests build your subjects chapter by chapter. Mock Tests show how ready you are.

Figure 14. My Assessments: Your group at the top, then the three stages — Basecamp, Chapter Tests and Mock Tests.

Your group

Under Your group, choose PCM group or PCB group. Switch any time — your reports and your CAMP profile stay with you. The whole page (and the chip in the top bar) changes to that group’s tests.

The three stages

Press Basecamp, Chapter Tests or Mock Tests on the line near the top to jump to that stage. Each stage is a card; press Open on a closed card to see it in full.

⛺ Basecamp

One 100-minute test in 6 sections that checks your Class 9–10 basics and builds your CAMP profile. The card shows your best and last score and the six sections it measures: Logical Reasoning, Spatial Reasoning, Mastery — Mathematics (9 & 10), Mastery — Physics (9 & 10), Mastery — Chemistry (9 & 10) and Speed & Accuracy. Press Take your first Basecamp → (later: retake) to open the Start dialog.

🚩 Chapter Tests

Up to 25 questions per chapter (20 MCQ + 5 numerical), 60 minutes, JEE Main marking. Pick your class, find your chapter (there is a search box), and press Start. A Suggested next chip points to a good chapter to practise. Chapters marked ★ PART OF PRIME are part of the Prime membership — during the free period they are open to everyone.

Reading the chapter list

The chapter list has one column per subject (with Strong counted at the top of each column, for example 1/10 Strong). Every chapter row tells you three things at a glance: its colour (how ready you are), its labels and its buttons.

Figure 15. Kavya’s Class 11 chapters on My Assessments. Kinematics is light green (Strong, one test); Gravitation is light orange-red (Needs work, one test).

5NOT READY YETThere are not enough questions yet for a fair test. Nothing to do — it opens when it is ready.
6★ PART OF PRIMEPart of Prime, the yearly EduPeak membership. During the free period it is open to everyone.

Under each name the row says how you did — for example 72% in your first test, or 18% in your last 2 tests — and, once you have taken a chapter more than 3 times, how many tests you have taken. A chapter marked Also in Class 12 appears in both classes.

The colours — and the legend

⬜ Not startedyou have not tested this chapter yet
  • Colour = right answers out of all questions in your last 3 tests of that chapter. Skipped questions count.
  • Dark = tested 2 or more times. Light = tested once. A light colour is a first reading — take the chapter again to confirm it.
  • Chapters are listed in learning order — the order your teachers usually teach them.

  • Key concepts — the numbered list of the ideas the test asks about (for Kinematics: motion graphs, equations of uniformly accelerated motion, vectors, projectile motion, relative velocity, uniform circular motion).
  • Level of thinking — a bar split into Recall & understanding, Apply & Analyse and Higher-order, with the number of learning objectives behind it.
  • A line that sums it up — for example This chapter is tested mostly at the Apply & Analyse level.

You can also see all chapters of a class on one page (Browse all chapters): pick Class 11 or Class 12, filter by subject, and search by name.

Figure 18. Browse all chapters. Each chapter has a Start button, or Not ready yet when there are not enough questions for a fair test.

🏆 Mock Tests

Each exam has its own papers and its own marking, under its own name. An exam marked AVAILABLE NOW has papers you can take today; the card says how many questions, how long, and how it is marked (for example, JEE Main: 75 questions · 180 min). After you take papers, the card shows your Best, your Average and Papers done, with your Recent attempts.

  • Take your first paper → opens a suggested paper to start with.
  • Browse all … papers → opens the full list, grouped by exam session, with filters for year and session.
  • Under More exams — each with its own date, or planned you can see exams that are coming. EduPeak never puts one exam’s paper behind another exam’s name.

Taking a test

The Start dialog, the test screen, sections and parts, submitting, and what happens if time runs out or you lose connection..

Before you start: the Start dialog

When you press Start on Basecamp or a chapter, a Start dialog opens. It tells you everything about the test before the clock begins: how many questions, how many minutes, the marking (for example Section A: +4 for a right answer, −1 for a wrong one), and, under What this test covers, the key concepts and the level of thinking.

Figure 19. The Start dialog for a Chapter Test. Choose the class (1) and the language (2), then press Start now (4).
  1. Check the Class (1) — for a chapter that is in both Class 11 and Class 12, choose which one.
  2. Under Take it in, choose the language (2). The line above says which languages this test is available in — for example Available in English, Hindi and Gujarati. The dialog starts in the language you are using, when the test has it. Choosing another language here switches all of myEduPeak to it — the menus, the test and your report — and the dialog says so.
  3. Scroll down to the Access code box (3). During the free period it is already filled in. If the test is Part of Prime and your school or coaching gave you a code, type it here.
  4. Press Start now → (4). The clock starts. (Press Cancel if you are not ready.)
Figure 20. The bottom of the same dialog: a Part of Prime chapter, with the access code already filled in (3).

Starting a Mock Test

Mock papers start from the paper’s own page:

  1. Open a paper (from Take your first paper → or Browse all papers). The page shows the questions, total marks, duration, Access (for example Free), what is in the paper and the marking scheme. Press Take this paper (1).
  2. Read Before you begin: duration and format, marking, During the exam, and One attempt only — once submitted (or once the time is over), the paper is closed and you cannot take the same paper again. Then tick the box that says the paper was made with help from AI and that you understand AI can have inaccuracies at times (2).
  3. Press Start exam (3). The exam clock begins the moment you press it.
Figure 21. A mock paper’s page: its size, marks, duration, access and marking. Press Take this paper (1).
Figure 22. The end of the mock paper instructions: the acknowledgement tick (2) and Start exam (3).

The test screen

Figure 23. The test screen during a Chapter Test (here, a numerical question). The watermark with your name is faint across the page.
What it does
1Timer — the time left. Next to it, Saved tells you your last answer reached EduPeak (Saving… while it is on its way).
2Mark for review — flags the question so you can come back to it. Press again to Unmark for review.
3Clear answer — removes your answer to this question.
4Save & next → — saves your answer and moves to the next question. ← Previous goes back one.
5Review & submit → — opens the submit check (see below).
6Submit — the same, from the top of the screen.
7Question Palette — a numbered button for every question. Press a number to jump there. Press the palette’s heading to fold or unfold it. On a phone or tablet, open it with the Palette button at the top and close it with ✕.

Each question shows its number (for example Q21 of 25), the subject, the section, the type (MCQ or Numerical) and its marks (for example +4 / −1). For a multiple-choice question, press an option. For a numerical question, type the number in Your answer.

Palette colours

ColourMeaning
Grey — Not VisitedYou have not opened this question yet.
Red — Not AnsweredYou opened it but left it without an answer.
Green — AnsweredYour answer is saved.
Purple — Marked for ReviewFlagged, no answer yet.
Purple with green ring — Answered & MarkedAnswered and flagged. It is still scored.

The top of the palette counts how many you have answered, not visited and marked.

In your language — and Show in English

The questions are in the language you are using for myEduPeak (chapter 9). A translated question has a line at its top: If in doubt, switch to English and check the original question. Press See original (English) to read the English original. English then stays on for the rest of the test — question after question, even after a reload — while the menus stay in your language. Press Back to [your language] to switch back.

Figure 24. A test in Hindi with English switched on: the line says English is on for the rest of this test, and the button switches back to Hindi.

Sections and parts

Some tests are split into blocks, each with its own clock:

  • Basecamp has 6 sections, each separately timed. A strip at the top shows each section and its minutes; the current one says NOW · … LEFT. Time isn’t shared between sections.
  • To move on, press Finish section → Next: [section name]. EduPeak asks Move to the next section? — you won’t be able to return to the section you are leaving. Press Next section → or Stay in this section.
  • When a section’s clock reaches zero, you move to the next section automatically.
  • Some mock exams (for example JEE Advanced) come in parts, with a break between them. After a part, you can start the next part straight away or come back later within the time shown — the screen tells you exactly when the next part opens and by when you must start it. You can close the tab during a break; nothing is lost.
Figure 25. Basecamp: the six sections, each with its own clock, and the Finish section button (orange, top right).
Figure 26. Leaving a Basecamp section. Once you move on, you cannot return.

Submitting

  1. Press Review & submit → (or Submit). The Submit your test? check shows how many questions you have answered and how many are unanswered.
  2. If you still have unanswered questions and a lot of time left (a quarter of the clock or more), EduPeak asks you to type SUBMIT in the box, just to be sure.
  3. Press Submit test — or Keep working to go back. Once submitted, your answers are final and the test ends.
  4. Your report opens straight away.
Figure 27. The submit check: 7 questions unanswered and 57 minutes left, so EduPeak asks you to type SUBMIT.

If time runs out, or you close the tab

  • Time runs out: the test submits itself when the timer reaches zero. Every answer that was saved is scored.
  • You close the tab or your battery dies: your answers are saved. Open myEduPeak again and use Resume (on your dashboard) — the test says Welcome back — your answers were saved. and how many minutes remain. But the clock keeps running the whole time, like a real exam hall, so sit down when you can finish. If the time ran out while you were away, open the test from the strip to submit it and see your report.
  • Your internet drops: the indicator next to the timer shows Not saved — retrying. Keep going; EduPeak keeps trying. When it shows Saved again, your answers are safe.
  • You change the language during a test: the questions change too, on the same question. Your answers, marks for review and the clock are not touched.

Your reports

Basecamp’s CAMP report, the Chapter Test and Mock Test report, worked solutions, PDF, and My Reports..

Every attempt ends in one report: what is strong, what is developing, and what needs work. Reports show only your own numbers — no ranks, no comparisons.

The Basecamp report (your CAMP profile)

Figure 28. The Basecamp report, Overview tab. Download PDF is at the top right (2).

The Basecamp report has three tabs (1):

  • Overview — your overall percentage and band, a sentence about your strengths, and the CAMP profile: a bar and a “profile shape” for each of the four dimensions — C · Cognition, A · Aptitude, M · Mastery (Maths, Physics, Chemistry) and P · Pace (Speed & Accuracy). Below it: Top strengths (70% and above) and Priority gaps (below 45%).
  • Sections — a closer look inside each of the 6 sections: right answers, Easy · Medium · Hard, Topic hints, time used, and a one-line comment.
  • Solution — every question, with filters for Subject, Status (Answered, Skipped) and Correctness (Correct, Incorrect, Unattempted), a search box and Go to Q#. Open a question to see its solution.
Figure 29. The Sections tab: each Basecamp section with its band, difficulty split and topic hints.

Bands: Strong 70% and above · Developing 45% to 69% · Area needs work below 45%. If you did not reach every section, the report says it is a Partial attempt and scores only the sections you tried.

Download PDF on the Basecamp report opens a clean print view of Overview and Sections (never the Solution tab) and your browser’s print window. Choose Save as PDF.

The Chapter Test and Mock Test report

Chapter Tests and Mock Tests share one report design. It opens straight after you submit, and any time from My Reports.

Figure 30. The top of a Mock Test report (Aarav’s JEE Main paper). The left column (1) lists the report’s sections.

The top of the report

  • The heading names the test, your name and the date.
  • Download PDF (2) and Your … trend → (3), which opens My Reports.
  • The score boxes: Score, Answered, Accuracy (right out of answered), Time used, and for mocks Marks from right answers and Marks lost to wrong answers.
  • A one-line summary, then What this attempt shows — a short, honest reading of your result.
  • For a Chapter Test, two chips: This test (its score and band) and the chapter band — the colour that goes on your dashboard, from your last 3 tests of that chapter.

Moving around: the left column

On a laptop, the column In this report lists the sections; press one to jump there. The sections are:

How you answered — the seven groups

Each question has a guide time from its difficulty and subject (for example Easy Chemistry 1 min 12 s; +30 s for a numerical). Your time on the question and the result put it in one group:

Figure 32. How you answered. Press See their worked solutions → on any group to step through just those questions.
GroupWhat it tells you
✓ Right, within guide timeThe target for every question.
✓ Right, took longerWell done — you know it. Practise to get faster.
✗ Wrong, answered quickly (a guess or a slip)Under 40% of the guide time. Slow down on the last step; if it was a guess, leave it next time.
✗ Wrong after some thoughtUsually a concept gap. Read the worked solution, then practise the chapter.
‖ Time spent, left blankOver 40% of the guide time, no answer. Decide sooner to skip.
» Skipped quicklyA good call when unsure — read the solution later.
○ Not openedSkipped past or never reached. Do one quick first pass through every question.

Press See their worked solutions → on a group. The report filters to that group and opens the worked solution of its first question; Next and Previous step through that group only.

Every question: the question map and filters

Figure 33. Every question with All (75) selected: ✓ right, ✗ wrong, dashed box = not opened, 🔖 marked for review.
  • Filters at the top: All, Wrong, Left blank, Not opened, Took longer, Marked for review, and one per subject. The number in brackets tells you how many questions match.
  • A search box finds questions by text, chapter or topic.
  • The Question map: ✓ right · ✗ wrong · grey box = left blank · dashed box = not opened · orange top = took longer than the guide time · 🔖 marked for review.
  • Tap a question to open its worked solution.

When you pick a filter — for example Wrong (18) — the map keeps every number in place but shows the ticks and crosses only for the questions in that filter, and Next then steps through those questions only. Press All to see your whole paper again.

The worked-solution panel

The panel opens at the side (full screen on a phone) and reads from top to bottom:

  1. The heading: the question number, subject, chapter, key concept, type and difficulty, and ✕ Close.
  2. Your result (for example ✗ Wrong), You took … · guide time …, your Marks, and the group it fell in.
  3. QUESTION — the full question.
  4. OPTIONS — your answer is marked Your answer, and the right one Correct answer.
  5. WORKED SOLUTION — the solution step by step, then the chapter and topic.
  6. At the bottom: ‹ Previous, the position with the filter it follows (for example 3 of 75 · Filter: All questions), and Next ›. On a keyboard, ← → move and Esc closes.
Figure 34. Question 3, opened from the map with All selected: QUESTION, then OPTIONS (your answer and the correct answer), then WORKED SOLUTION.
Figure 35. Scrolling down the same panel: the end of the worked solution, the chapter and topic, and 3 of 75 · Filter: All questions.

The Solutions section

At the end of the report, Solutions lists all questions in a table: chapter and key concept, difficulty, thinking, guide time, time spent, result and group, each with Worked solution →. Its filter is shared with Every question — a change in one also changes the other.

  1. Press Download PDF at the top of the report.
  2. Your browser’s print window opens. On the next screen, choose Save as PDF and save it.

The PDF has your scores and charts only. Questions and worked solutions stay in the EduPeak app, and the printout says so. Every printed page carries your name, the words EduPeak practice test and the date it was printed.

My Reports

My Reports has every test you have taken, and how your scores have moved over time.

Figure 37. My Reports: the totals, then Basecamp, Chapter tests and Mock tests, each with its history.
  • It shows your current group’s tests. Tick Show tests from both groups to see PCM and PCB together.
  • Basecamp · your history — your best, latest and average, a small chart of your score over time, and every attempt with View report ↗.
  • Chapter tests · your history — only chapters you have tested, with class and band filters and an Order choice (Most recent first or Needs most work first). Tap a chapter to see every attempt.
  • Mock Tests · your history — each exam on its own scale, with how many questions you tried, so a low score makes sense.

Sharing your progress

Invite a parent, guardian or tuition teacher; see who follows you; your institute..

Your hard work deserves cheering. You can let a parent, guardian or tuition teacher — EduPeak calls them Well-wishers — follow your journey. They see your dashboards and reports exactly as you do, view-only. You choose who; you can stop anytime.

Invite a Well-wisher

On My Dashboard, in Share your journey 💛, press Add someone. Then:

  1. Under 1 · Who are you inviting?, choose Parent (mum / dad), Guardian (family / carer) or Teacher (tuition / school) (1).
  2. Under 2 · Their email, type their email address (2). The link will only work for this email — safe to share anywhere.
  3. Press Create invite link (3).
  4. Your private link appears. Press Copy, or Share on WhatsApp (it opens your own WhatsApp — EduPeak sends nothing). EduPeak also emails the invitation for you.
Figure 38. Share your journey: who you are inviting (1), their email (2), and Create invite link (3).
Figure 39. The ready link, with Copy and Share on WhatsApp. It shows who can use it and when it expires.

When they open the link and accept, they appear under Who’s following you now. Until then the invitation shows as Invite waiting, with Copy invite, Resend (up to 3 resends a day) and Cancel. Every invitation expires after 60 days; if it runs out, simply create a new one.

See who follows you, and stop sharing

Once someone follows you, the dashboard button changes to Manage · [number] following. Press it to see everyone, for example Sunita · PARENT · Following since 30 Sept 2026.

Figure 40. Aarav’s sharing: his parent follows him, and his institute can see him too.
  • Press Remove next to a name to stop sharing with that person. Access ends instantly; your consent record stays yours.
  • You can have up to 10 followers.
  • Creating an invite is your conscious choice. EduPeak records who you invited, how and when — always visible to you here.

Your institute

If you joined a batch (Chapter 3), the same window shows Your institute can see you too, with the institute, the batch and the date. Any teacher there can see your dashboards and reports, read-only. You agreed to this when you took your seat. It stays with the institute, not with one teacher. To end it, ask your institute to remove you from the batch. If the institute’s access is paused, you will see paused — no teacher there can see your progress then.

Language and phone

Six languages, and using myEduPeak on a phone..

Change the language

The language menu is at the top of every page, on every screen size. Choose English, हिन्दी, ગુજરાતી, मराठी, தமிழ் or తెలుగు. The menus, buttons and reports change at once — and edupeak.org follows the same choice.

Figure 41. The same dashboard in Hindi.

There is one language for everything — the menus, the questions of your tests, and your reports with their worked solutions:

  • In a Start dialog, choosing a language under Take it in switches all of myEduPeak to it.
  • Change the language during a test and the questions change too — your answers and the clock stay as they are.
  • Want a question’s English original? See original (English) shows it, and stays on for the rest of that test (chapter 6).
  • Anything not yet in your language is shown in English and says so: a test not yet in your language has a line under the top bar; in a report, the worked-solution panel says This question is not in [your language] yet and a small in English tag marks each English part. If a few questions of a test are being updated, the test screen tells you how many are shown in English.

On a phone

Everything in myEduPeak works on a phone. On a narrow screen, the top bar shows the logo, the language menu and the menu button (☰). Press ☰ for Start Here, My Dashboard, My Assessments, My Reports, your role, My Profile and Sign out.

Add myEduPeak to your home screen

myEduPeak can be installed like an app. In your phone’s browser, open jeemain.edupeak.org, open the browser menu and choose Add to Home screen (or Install app). An EduPeak icon appears on your home screen and opens myEduPeak full-screen. You still need an internet connection to take tests.

Safety, privacy and help

Why you see your name on the questions, how your privacy is protected, and how to reach EduPeak..

Why your name is on the page

EduPeak’s questions and worked solutions take a great deal of care to write. To protect them, the test screen and the solutions carry a faint, repeated watermark with your name, your email and the date. It does not get in your way — and it is there for every user, including EduPeak’s own staff.

On the test and report screens, a few things are switched off on purpose: copying and cutting text, the right-click menu, dragging images, and the keyboard shortcuts for print, save and view-source. Printing a report prints the scores and charts, never the questions and solutions.

This is not about suspecting you. It keeps the questions fresh and fair for everyone who practises after you — including you, next time.

Your privacy

  • Your results are yours. No ranks and no comparisons with other students — reports show only your own numbers.
  • Nobody sees your progress unless you agree. A Well-wisher sees it only after you invite them, or accept their invitation and tick the consent box. An institute sees it only after you take your seat and tick the consent box. Each consent is recorded with date and time.
  • Everyone who follows you is read-only. They can’t start or change anything.
  • You can stop sharing with a Well-wisher at any time (Remove). For an institute, ask them to remove you from the batch.
  • EduPeak does not use your data for advertising and does not sell it. You can ask to see, correct or delete your data by writing to hello@edupeak.org — see the Privacy Policy on edupeak.org.

Getting help

  • Start Here in myEduPeak — your map of the app.
  • FAQs on edupeak.org — answers to common questions, in six languages.
  • Email: hello@edupeak.org — EduPeak aims to reply within two business days. The Contact page on edupeak.org has the details.
  • For anything about your batch or your institute’s invitation, ask your institute first — they manage batches and invitations.

Questions students ask

Short answers to common questions..

Is EduPeak free?

Creating an account is free. During the launch period everything is free for everyone — the date is on your Start Here page. After that, every part keeps free tests, each with the complete report; Prime (the yearly membership) opens everything else and lets you take a test again. Every test shows Free or Part of Prime before you start.

What is the access code, and where do I get one?

It opens Prime tests. During the free period it is already filled in for you. Later, your school or coaching may give you a code — type it in the Access code box of the Start dialog.

Which test should I take first?

Basecamp — once, before your two years of preparation begin. Then take Chapter Tests as you finish each chapter, and Mock Tests in your last months.

Can I take a Chapter Test again?

Yes. Press Practise or Retake on the chapter. You get new questions each time. Your chapter colour comes from your last 3 tests of that chapter.

Can I take the same Mock paper twice?

No. Each mock paper allows one attempt. There are many other papers to choose from.

My internet went off during a test. Did I lose my answers?

No. Saved answers are kept, and EduPeak keeps retrying until the indicator says Saved. If you closed the tab, open myEduPeak and press Resume — the clock keeps running while you are away.

What happens when the timer reaches zero?

The test submits itself, and every saved answer is scored. In Basecamp, when a section’s clock reaches zero you move on to the next section.

Why can’t I go back to a Basecamp section?

Each Basecamp section has its own clock, like separate papers. Once you move to the next section, the one before is closed.

A chapter says NOT READY YET. What should I do?

Nothing. There are not enough questions yet for a fair test. It opens there when it is ready.

Why does my chapter show Strong when the test said Developing?

They measure different things. The test’s band is your marks in that test (wrong answers cost a mark). The chapter colour is right answers out of all questions in your last 3 tests of the chapter.

Can my parents see my reports?

Only if you invite them (Share your journey → Add someone) or accept their invitation. They see your dashboards and reports read-only, and you can remove them anytime.

My institute’s invitation link says it isn’t for this account.

The invitation is locked to the email it was sent to. Sign out and sign in with that email — or ask your institute to send it to the email you use on EduPeak.

The invitation email never arrived.

Check your Spam folder. Ask the person who invited you to copy the link and send it on WhatsApp — they can also press Resend.
