Does the Cambridge International A Level syllabus cover GUJCET?

Area by area, from the boards' and the exam body's own documents — pick any box, the page follows instantly.

Good to knowA Level is taken as components rather than year-groups, so the left column names Cambridge topics, not Class 11 and Class 12.
Good to knowGUJCET has no syllabus of its own. The Board states that the GUJCET syllabus is its Standard 12 Science course - the NCERT-based reduced syllabus - so if you are a Gujarat Board student in Science, what you are already studying this year is the whole of it. Class 11 is not examined.

How to read this

Each row is one area the exam examines. The left cell is your school's doing; the right cell is ours — including whether our question bank is genuinely deep enough yet, which is where "no chapter test yet" comes from.

We do not list what EduPeak covers beyond your exam. It would pad the page and it would not help you.

The limit worth naming. A tick means you have met the material, not that you are ready for it. Only solved papers measure that.

Worth doingTwo things from the Board's own information booklet. Physics and Chemistry are one combined paper - 40 questions each, 80 in total, 120 minutes, on a single answer sheet - while Mathematics is a separate 40-question paper of 60 minutes. Each right answer is worth one mark, a wrong answer costs a quarter mark, and marking two options costs a full mark. On admission: the merit list combines your Standard 12 theory percentile with your GUJCET percentile, but the Board does not fix the weighting between them - it is set by the admission rules published each year, so treat any fixed ratio you read elsewhere with suspicion.
Worth doingYour board exam comes first. Everything your board teaches is worth studying fully, whatever entrance exam you are aiming at - your board result is a qualification in its own right, and the 'not asked by this exam' list below is a sequencing aid for entrance practice, never a licence to skip course work.
Where this came fromA word about the 'builds ideas' lines. The green and red verdicts compare chapter lists and are taken from the boards' and exam bodies' own documents. But topics are not islands - the binomial expansion, taken far enough, is where the normal curve comes from. Where a topic outside your exam builds ideas the exam does use, we say so on the row. That connection is our judgment as educators, clearly marked, and it never changes a verdict - only explains one.
Where this came fromEvery syllabus here was read from the board's own published documents - textbooks or syllabus papers - never from a coaching site or an exam-guide aggregator. Where we could not reach an official source, the board is left out rather than guessed at.
Where this comes from

GUJCET areas: GSEB, 'GUJCET Mahiti Pustika' (Information Booklet), English edition, PDF created 2025-12-15, for GUJCET-2026. Section 2.2 Curriculum: the GUJCET syllabus IS the Board's Standard 12 Science Stream syllabus, described there as 'the NCERT based (reduced) syllabus'. The areas below are therefore Gujarat's own Class 12 chapter list, which this model already holds at Tier A - verified 74/74 against GSEB's own textbooks 2026-09-01. No separate GUJCET syllabus document exists, and none is needed.
